This sanatorium was a healthcare center for tuberculosis treatment such as heliotherapy and hydrotherapy. The Ospedale al Mare (“Hospital of the Sea”) is located on the island of Lido in Venice in Italy. It opened in 1868 and abandoned in 2003. There is still some medical equipment left.
