The Western Village, in Nikko a city about 70 miles north of the capital Tokyo, is a famous abandoned theme park in Japan. It was built in 1975 and has been abandoned since 2007 after it was closed for maintenance but it never opened again. In this abandoned Japanese theme park, we found replicas of Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Mount Rushmore and attractions included a live Wild West show, haunted houses, and smaller buildings with western content. Now it’s a ruin, haikyo, open only to urban explorers and a famous place for them in Japan.
