Located in the town of Treia in Italy, the Villa “La Quiete”, which is also known as Villa Spada, was built in 1815. It was easy to go inside, all the doors were open. We found this place in poor conditions. We tried to imagine the past of this wonderful place. The villa has had several lives. It was a women’s internment camp, which closed in 1942 after several complaints due to bad sanitary conditions. After it was an internment camp for immigrants from Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Libya. Finally, until the 1980s, the place was a children’s hospital. For twenty years now, the villa has been abandoned with a huge park.
