MS Mediterranean Sky was a boat built in 1953 in the United Kingdom under the name of City of York. It maintained its service until 1971, when it became the Mediterranean Sky. His last voyage was in August 1996, when it sailed from Brindisi to Patras. Due to the companies’ financial situation, the Mediterranean Sky was arrested in 1997. It remained in Patras until 1999 and was towed and abandoned in Eleusis Bay. Then, in 2002, it began to take on water.
