The Children’s Maritime Health Resort of Military Insured Persons
With its appearance of a flying saucer washed up on the beach, this building immediately piques curiosity through its atypical architecture. Constructed between 1963 and 1964 in the town of Krvavica, the site was designed by architect Rikard Marasović. It once served as a maritime health center for children. Despite being abandoned since the late 1980s and its poor condition resulting from relentless vandalism, the location nevertheless remains listed as a cultural heritage site.
