Marks Pool — Abandoned swimming pool in the Flemish Region
A magnificent swimming pool built in 1915 and closed because it no longer met modern standards. A superb statue of ‘The Lifeguard’ overlooks the pool, with changing rooms left exactly as they were. The complex is vast; along the corridors, you find bathtubs, saunas, tanning beds, and more. The exterior architecture, typical of Flanders, is simply stunning.
