We walked for a long time before arriving at this seminary. We were not alone, the vultures watched over us. We discovered the facade of this huge seminary with a big cross. There were no difficulty to come inside but we discovered an empty place, without any interest. This seminary was a convent before, founded in 1490, and was finally abandoned in 1971.
This abandoned convent is in a village in the province of Lyon. The nature covers the place, trees and brambles protects this abandoned place. With the damages made by the time and ten years after its closure, the atmosphere of the place is heavy with a chapel in ruin and colored corridors.
This convent, built in 1910, was abandoned in 2002. After the World War I, the nuns transformed the place in a retirement home but problems with standards compliance condemned the place. During our exploration, we noticed the decay of the place. On the first floor, the ground is partially collapsed. We found several vestiges as beds, TVs, wheelchairs and the chapel is still intact
